Here is part of an article I am working on for capture issues in general for Easy VHS to DVD. Would appreciate some help please as this is driving me crazy!Ĭan you elaborate on "fine and recognized"? Can you see the capture device? Have checked all connections several times but still the same result. As already suggested, my computer has been shut down, so I gather the failures I've previously had were hopefully removed.Everything is fine and recognized until I get to the Plug and Burn Capture Now screen. I hadn't noticed an unusual amount of hard drive space being depleted before, but this time I've dropped from 223GB to 207GB in just 20 minutes. long and I'm now attempting to capture it using Medium quality instead of High. The video I'm trying to capture for a function tomorrow is 2.5 hrs. I've also changed the capture folder as suggested in the error message. My computer and display sleep is set at Never. I'm using a MacBook Pro, OS X ver 10.8.5, 4GB RAM using Mountain Lion. I'm having the same issue with my version 2.0.1 (135). I just installed and updated the software today. I did change the destination folder to one directly on the hard drive after I got this error the first time. ![]() I've tried different VHS tapes and have only been successful at capturing a 1 minute recording. Nothing gets saved, but I don't get this message until I've actually stopped the recording (so theres no way for me to tell if its going to work before I start). Try to change the destination folder in the Preferences window." when I stop recording. I keep getting the message "Video Capturing Failed, Recording stopped because the configuration of media sources and destinations changed.
